Hello, Im new on this forum.

I have some problem with my Toshiba

I had to replace power supply init cable and by mistake switched wires + and O and connect to the laptop causing damage.

Now I have laptop dead, no blinking or flashing LEDs - all dead.

Can you tell me or show in some way where can I find the fuse on the motherboard. I tried to find it near the power socket but there is no ordinary descriptions on the board, such as FUSE500 or something.

I guessing that the fuse is this vertical "thing" under the copper screw hole. Am I right?

komar190 Q - is a fuse. To his right - inductance. They live?

I don't have the scheme so I don't know if the fuse is open or short in normal state
Now is short when I check it with multimeter. Should I check it also when power is connected?

Is it a good way to check it in thermal test?
Spray with isporopanol and connect the power and check alcohol vaporing speed?

On this link there is some scheme of that motherboard but I don't have permission to save it because I'm newbie.

After that I need for sure, check what is this fuse exactly to buy it.
